Teams and access

VendorGate uses team-based access so you can invite colleagues and control what they can do.

Roles

The available roles are:

• Owner: full access to the account, billing, and members.
• Admin: can manage resources and invite members.
• Member: read access to runs, pipelines, contracts, transformations, and monitors. Cannot modify resources or approve review runs.

Inviting users

1. Go to Settings > Teams.
2. Click Invite Member.
3. Enter the email address.
4. Select a role.
5. Send the invitation.

The invited user will receive an email with instructions to join the account.

Changing roles

Admins and owners can change a member's role or remove them from the account. Removing a member does not delete the resources they created.

Best practice

Grant the lowest role that still allows a user to do their job. Use separate credentials for production systems instead of sharing them across the team.
